You know that AgCareers.com is behind this blog, so you know that we love to help job seekers out by giving expert career and job search advice. But the best piece of advice we can give you is to search for jobs on AgCareers.com.

Here are ten ways to search for jobs on AgCareers.com:

1. Use the search bar at the top of the page. Super simple. Type in any keywords that have to do with what you’re looking for: Swine, Accounting, Cotton, Graphic Design, Tractors, Education, anything.

2. Search by Location. You can search for jobs by location using the aforementioned box at the top of the homepage where it is labeled “Job Location.” Or you can use the snazzy interactive map that you’ll see on the homepage as well. Click on whichever country, region and/or state you’re interested in to view a list of open positions in that area.

3.Search by Industry Type. If you are passionate about feed nutrition or precision agriculture but you’re not necessarily picky about the career type or location, search using our drop-down menu in the top box labeled “Industry Type.” Or include all three (keywords, location and industry type) for a narrower search that may insure better results.

4. Get Advanced. Want to hand-select all the qualities about your desired job? Conduct an advanced search by clicking on the “Advanced Search” option in the top right corner of the homepage. This option allows you to enter specific search criteria like career type, years of experience, etc.

5. Featured Positions. Conveniently located to the right hand side of AgCareers.com’s interactive map is a scroll column filled with featured jobs. Take a glance through those—you might find a great position that interests you! You can also search Featured Jobs under the Job Seekers drop-down menu at the top of the page and then under “Featured Jobs.”

6. Featured Employer Jobs. com has a nice list of very cool and famous employers that post jobs regularly on our site. Some you may have heard of include Monsanto, Kraft Foods, BASF, and more (see the full list here and their positions by clicking “View All Jobs”. You can view jobs specifically by our employer partners under our Job Seeker drop-down menu. Under “Search Tools,” click “Employer Jobs.”

7. Get Recruited. You can find jobs posted by Recruiters under the Job Seekers drop-down menu at the top of the page. Find “Search Tools” and then “Recruiter Jobs.”

8. Looking for an Internship? We sorted those out just for you. You can find and apply to great internship opportunities under “Internships” through the Job Seeker drop-down menu at the top of the homepage. It is listed beneath “Search Tools.”

9. Most Recent Job Postings. If you frequently visit AgCareers.com, a way to be sure you don’t miss anything is to browse jobs by date. You can do so by using that handy Job Seekers tab at the top of the page, dropping down and clicking on “Jobs by Date” beneath “Search Tools.”

10. Save Jobs! So now that you’ve been searching, you’ve probably found a lot of options that you want to apply to. You can save them by creating a job seeker account and then clicking “Save This Job” in the right hand corner of whichever posting you want to save. Then you can come back to them whenever you’d like under the Job Seeker drop-down menu, beneath “Search Tools” and “Saved Jobs.”
